Continued to take personal inventory and, when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.

Step Ten points the way toward continued spiritual growth. We consciously examine our daily conduct and make adjustments where necessary. We look at ourselves, see our errors, promptly admit them, and make corrections. Taking regular inventory makes us more conscious of our strengths and weaknesses. We are less inclined to yield to feelings of loneliness, self-righteousness, and anger if we remain emotionally balanced and gather courage as we see our strengths increasing. We become more focused and capable of living the Christian life we desire.
