Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others, and practice these principles in all our affairs.
Each of the Twelve Steps is a vital part of fulfilling God’s plan for us. Conscientious attention to working the steps develops in us a level of love, acceptance, honesty, and peace of mind unequalled at any other time in our lives. Step Twelve invites us to promote our own growth by helping others. Our willingness to share our commitment to recovery and our growing awareness of God’s presence in our lives keeps us ever-vigilant for ways to share our new confidence.
